Street Performers

APPLY TO BE A STREET PERFORMER / BUSKER

2nd - 4th April. Performances will be positioned along Margret St, Toowoomba.

Please note ONLINE applications for Street Performer / Busker positions have now closed. If you'd still like to be apart of this fantastic opportunity for Easterfest 2010, you can fill out a form at the information desk (at the front entrance of the Pavillion).

 

CONDITIONS

1. Once your area along Margret St has been assigned you will not be able to move to another location without consent.

2. Pedestrian access to be maintained (1.8 meters between busker and carriageway).

3. Entertainment to be in keeping with the harmony of the area, and will be at the scrutiny of Easterfest City and Toowoomba Regional Council.

4. Amplification shall not be used unless special permission has been granted by Easterfest City.

5. Money collection receptacle to be positioned against shop wall and away from pedestrian walkway and to be no larger in size than an average hat.

6. Busking shall not be conducted within 5 meters of a corner.

7. Busking shall not be conducted within the covered walkway area of Style Street (Margaret Street) where it crosses West Creek.

8. Busking shall not be conducted in any specific area on a given day for a period exceeding one hour.

9. Whilst busking, your Easterfest City busking permit is to be available for inspection.

10. Busking shall not be conducted within 40 meters of another busker.

11. The quality of the recitation shall be to the satisfaction of Council’s Chief Executive Officer and Easterfest City Co-ordinators.

12. Music stands are not permitted.

13. Permission to be obtained from adjoining storekeeper (where practical).

14. The permit is only valid to you only during your scheduled time.

15. Busking shall not be conducted in Margaret Street (Code: Eat Street area) from 2-6 April 2010 without the approval of Easterfest (As per TRC).
